Commercial Environmental Services Ltd is a growing business, delivering high‑quality water hygiene and water treatment services. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a skilled and dedicated Water Treatment Engineer to join our friendly, proactive team.

 

As a Water Treatment Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering safe, high‑quality water treatment and hygiene programmes for a wide range of customers. You’ll represent the business professionally, liaise with clients, and ensure all work meets regulatory, legislative, and best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

​

  • Carry out water treatment and hygiene works safely, on time, and to a high standard.​

  • Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.​

  • Work closely with clients and colleagues to share progress and updates.​

  • Conduct a variety of water hygiene and treatment tasks, including:

    • Water sampling & temperature monitoring

    • Showerhead cleaning & descaling

    • Water tank cleaning, inspection & disinfection

    • TMV servicing

    • Water softener installation & servicing

    • Closed‑system sampling, testing & remediation

    • Plant and equipment installations

    • Calorifier inspections

    • External mains chlorination

  • Complete accurate electronic reports and submit promptly.​

  • Ensure all work adheres to relevant legislation, policies, and PPE requirements.​

  • Maintain company vehicle condition and complete regular safety checks.​

  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

​

  • 2 or more years experience in the water treatment industry.​

  • Good working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM04:01, DWI Private Water Systems, Water Regulations, and relevant British Standards.​

  • Experience working independently, including in confined spaces and roof/loft areas.​

  • Confidence using electronic reporting systems.​

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and relationship‑building skills.​

  • A proactive, positive attitude with strong problem‑solving abilities.​

  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.​

  • A full driving license with fewer than 3 points.
